NTT DATA is currently looking for a .NET Solution Architect for one of our clients in the public sector based in Brussels. This role will be performed in a hybrid mode.

Context:

We are looking for an expert in .NET development and design with extensive experience. The Solution Architect is responsible for the design and formatting of applications and integrations, and leads an implementation team from a technical perspective, taking into account the specific requirements formulated from the solution architecture and the business. He or she leads the team through coaching and mentoring and participates with team members in the creation and evolution of applications, systems and integrations.

• Identifying and encouraging areas for growth and improvement within the team.
• Collaborate with other developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test and maintain enterprise applications based on web and desktop development built with Microsoft technologies.
• Participate in gathering and documenting user requirements, developing user stories, estimates and work plans.
• Preparing reports, manuals and other documents on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
• Designing, developing and testing applications in accordance with established standards.
• Participating in peer reviews on the creation of software and the corresponding code.
• Preparing and supporting the deployment of versions.
• Working with colleagues to migrate existing applications to current Microsoft technologies.
• Developing, refining and fine-tuning integrations between applications.
• Analysing and resolving technical and application problems.
• Evaluate application and process improvement opportunities and prepare justification documents to share with team members and other stakeholders.
• Respect high quality development, standards, guidelines and principles (defined by the Solution & Enterprise Architecture) while delivering the software on time and on budget.

Profile:

• At least 10 years experience in a similar role
• Analysing information: Analysing data in a targeted manner and judging information critically.
• Thinking analytically: Recognising a structure in information, understanding the logical links between cause and effect and distinguishing the essential from the incidental.
• Integrating information: Evaluating information - processing information critically and evaluating the alternatives available. Establish links between various data, devise alternatives and draw appropriate conclusions.

• Generate alternatives: Imagine and list a series of alternatives.
• Draw conclusions: Draw an appropriate conclusion on the basis of the summary and the alternatives generated.
• Anticipate: Take future developments into account and anticipate changes when designing software.
• Coaching: Architects have the necessary skills to pass on their knowledge to project teams.
• Communication: The architect is able to communicate clearly, concisely and correctly with stakeholders, team members, analysts and architects.
