Role:
Project manager - European Commission

Location:
Brussels, Belgium - European Commission

Responsibilities

Following tasks will be performed by external service provider:

• Definition of functional analysis, use cases, and mock-ups
• Preparation of technical background documents and presentations for the Technical Working Group sessions, with Member States
• Preparation and follow up of exchanges with Member States and stakeholders, such as surveys, enquiries and specific requests
• Management of project schedule
• Development and maintenance of project schedule
• Coordination and review of activities performed by the team, and prioritisation of tasks
• Reporting of progress, issues and risks
• Assistance with internal reporting to client Management and Member States
• Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers
• Interaction with the external contractors

Requirements:

Following skills are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

• Great experience in project management
• Good experience in mobile applications projects
• Good experience with interoperability of IT systems
• Good experience defining functional requirements for IT systems
• Good experience interacting and reporting to IT and non-IT stakeholders
• Great understanding of project and program management methodology

Certificates:

Following certificates & standards are required for the performance of tasks:

• Certified in PM2 or equivalent certification

Languages:

• Excellent knowledge of English - Level C1 in Understanding, Speaking and Writing

• Highly flexible and able to adapt to changing and/or conflicting priorities
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to conceptualize complex technical environments and issues
