Role: Social Media Expert - European Commission
Location: Brussels, Belgium - European Commission

Responsibilities

Following tasks will be performed by external service provider:

• Developing multimedia content for online publication such as videos, visuals, and GIFs, as well as copies for posts
• Managing the DG's social media presence on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube, and possibly Instagram in the future
• Reviewing materials produced by external contractors and colleagues in the DG, and analysing and reporting results

Requirements

Following skills are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in social media management
• Strong audiovisual skills
• Creative and highly-motivated
• Passion for digital communication
• Ability to create appealing audio-visual materials
• Good experience working with Canva
• Good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to write catchy copies
• Good understanding of social media monitoring and analytical tools

Languages:

• Excellent knowledge of English - Level C2 in Understanding, Speaking and Writing
• Knowledge of other languages would be an asset
