ABOUT THE POSITION:
Result Areas:
- Collecting, entering, and monitoring data, preparing specific documents and files, and handling/coordinating (administrative) tasks specific to the field with the aim of managing waste and production data correctly and efficiently.
- Processing, checking, approving, updating, and monitoring waste and production data in databases and systems.
- Coordinating, planning, and reporting nuclear transports, taking into account transport permits and insurances.
- Preparing a conformity dossier for documentation and acceptance of production.
- Analyzing, evaluating, and proactively processing waste and production data from internal and external sources, with the aim of reporting and advising internal and external partners.
- Preparing monthly and annual reports for nuclear regulatory bodies.
- Preparing and submitting the annual tax return on the receipt and storage of nuclear waste.
- Creating and managing production documentation files.
- Extracting data from databases to support and advise own and other departments.
- Keeping up-to-date, optimizing, and making proposals for the BP-databases and BP-tools with the aim of making data efficiently and correctly available to both internal and external partners.
- Writing applications to extract data from existing databases to support and advise both internal and external partners.
- Proposing expansions to the functionalities of the waste databases (e.g., GeNA, KTM, OBS, ...).
- Proactively evaluating existing functionalities in BP-applications in the context of new needs.
- Applying content knowledge via notes, procedures, rules and legislation with the aim of independently preparing, planning, and executing tasks within the field.
- Applying notes to correctly characterize waste physico-chemically and radiologically and to assess the result, taking into account the applicable rules and legislation, acceptance criteria, etc.
- Applying rules and legislation regarding nuclear material for required reporting, inventories, and movement statuses.
- Coding and processing production and waste data in accounting according to submitted procedures and acceptance criteria.
- Administrative follow-up in the context of characterization and acceptance; lab analyses, specific treatment campaigns, etc.
- Organizing and following up technical visits, controls, and inspections with the aim of complying with internal/external regulations and procedures.
- Planning and supervising inspections in the installations by NIRAS, FANC, ...
- Preparing, organizing, and supervising the inspections of nuclear material by the controlling authorities.
- Supporting incoming inspections
