Context of the assignment

RSVZ is a dynamic organization where more than 150 people work within the IT department. RSVZ is a bilingual environment, with both French-speaking and Dutch-speaking stakeholders. Within IT, work is done in an agile way (scrum methodology) and the ten development teams are composed in a multidisciplinary manner.

Team Black is a transversal team that delivers reusable technical building blocks used by the other development teams. Team Black is looking for a colleague with experience in using AI for code conversion. Within the team, this person will be part of a working group to realize a migration from WPF to Blazor using AI, for the IT application that supports all business services of RSVZ.

Team Black currently consists of eight people. The following functions and roles are represented in the team: Scrum Master, Developers, Ops Engineer, Product Owner.

Role

The “AI Software Engineer (.NET)” is responsible for designing, developing, coordinating, and rolling out the migration from WPF to Blazor using AI within the IT department. This person will take the lead to guide and execute the migration from A to Z. In other words, he/she sets up the AI part, after which developers in the migration team can perform more and support the teams. Concrete experience with using AI for code conversion is therefore necessary.

In the context of the migration, he/she works together with developers and reports to the AI Teamlead who takes on project management.
