ABOUT US

The Biobank of UZ/KULeuven aims to assist researchers at UZ and KU Leuven in the optimal management of biomedical samples intended for scientific research and wishes to serve as an accessible knowledge center concerning biobanking. The ultimate goal of the Biobank is to support research with societal impact and to protect the rights and wishes of all involved parties (the donor, the researcher, the patient). The Biobank is integrated into the research landscape of UZ and KU Leuven.

THE POSITION

• You support the implementation of a new inventory software within the biobank with the goal of inventorying the samples of UZ and KULeuven and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation
• You familiarize yourself with the software package, both in terms of content and technical aspects
• You convince the internal client of the added value of this software package and encourage them to participate
• You attend weekly meetings with the software vendor and follow up on outstanding issues
• You work proactively, are flexible, dynamic, and helpful

The interviews for this position will take place on Wednesday 18/3 between 13:30-15:30.
