Application Architect / Senior .NET Developer

The Department of Care is looking for an experienced Application Architect / Senior .NET Developer for the further development and modernization of the internally developed e-loket of the Department of Care.

The e-loket offers citizens and organizations a central online platform for applying for and tracking files, such as permits, recognitions, subsidies, notifications, and registrations. For user and access management, the platform uses basic services of the eHealth platform.

The candidate will be involved in the entire software development process and will take responsibility for complex implementations and integrations. In addition, he/she will support other developers with technical issues and safeguard the technical quality of the solution.

Responsibilities include, among others:

  • Developing the high-level technical design of the application and/or infrastructure
  • Drawing up the low-level technical design and technical guidelines for developers
  • Supporting developers with complex technical implementations
  • Safeguarding the quality, maintainability, and performance of the software
  • Contributing to modernization and migration projects of existing applications

Desired profile:

The candidate has extensive experience as a fullstack .NET developer and has a strong technical background in application architecture and modernization projects.

Required technical knowledge and experience:

  • At least 7 years of experience as a fullstack .NET developer
  • Demonstrable experience with ASP.NET MVC
  • Experience with .NET Core
  • Experience with React and/or Angular
  • Experience with technical application migrations and modernization projects
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Experience with communication platforms and integrations (SOAP and REST)
  • Experience with databases and SQL
  • Experience with security and secure application development
  • Experience with basic services of the eHealth platform
  • Experience with e-loket applications within a government context

Language skills:

  • Dutch: native level

Practical information:

  • Start date: as soon as possible
  • End date: end of 2026, with the possibility of extension in periods of 3 months
  • Commitment: full-time
