Application tester
As part of its software development activities, the Organisme payeur de Wallonie (OPW) has launched an enterprise architecture initiative consisting of establishing a reference architecture framework and aligning the components of the information system with the OPW's business strategy.
In this context, a technical architecture based on JAVA/Angular has been implemented, and all OPW applications are currently being rewritten according to a Domain Driven Design approach.
The OPW wishes to acquire the services of a test analyst whose mission is to participate in development activities within the context of this rewrite in order to guarantee the quality of the delivered products.
Mission:
- The test analyst ensures that the delivered products comply with specifications, requirements, stated needs, and standards (security, legal, accessibility, etc.);
- Designs, specifies, and organizes tests (test case specifications, test data, expected results);
- Works in close collaboration with the mentor of the test competence center and the testers;
- Executes and follows up on the execution of tests.
Main activities:
- Analyze the inputs at the test level (specifications, stated needs, architecture, etc.);
- Participate in the test approach, the test strategy of a product;
- Specify tests, test cases, test conditions, test procedures;
- Define prerequisites, data sets associated with the test, expected results, test sequences, requirements for test resources;
- Monitor requirement coverage by tests within their scope;
- Provide reporting information to the mentor of the test competence center;
- Participate in the qualification of anomalies;
- Use anomaly management tools (JIRA);
- Write test reports and participate in closure activities (enrichment of the test repository);
- Communicate with project stakeholders;
- Identify and specify requirements for test resources;
- Apply or ensure application of current standards, methods, and tools in testing activities.
The activities will mainly take place within the following teams:
- The CORETEAM responsible for the development and maintenance of transversal tools
- The ARCHOPW-6 team responsible for the application overhaul of the OPW’s accounting tools.
The remaining candidates will be invited for an interview before a jury, the composition of which will be communicated at a later date.
The interview could take place remotely if circumstances require.
