Assignment Context

RSVZ is a dynamic organization where more than 150 people work within the IT department. RSVZ is a bilingual environment, with both French-speaking and Dutch-speaking stakeholders. The organizational culture is informal. Team Black is a development team that works transversally within INF (platform team). The team operates according to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) to deliver high-quality and scalable applications. There are 10 development teams and Team Black consists of 10 people with the following roles: Scrum Master, Developers, Ops Engineer, and Product Owner. We are currently looking for an experienced backend .NET developer to strengthen the team.

The current focus of the team is on making the Azure Cloud platform usable for other development teams.

Role:

The experienced backend .NET developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the .NET technical framework components. This person works closely with other developers, testers, the product owner, and the scrum master to deliver functionalities in an iterative and incremental manner. The developer plays a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of new functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, development, and maintenance of .NET framework components for backend development using C# and .NET Core. Refines and translates requirements into technical specifications for reusable components for other development teams.
• Analyzing and solving technical issues: responsible for resolving second-level bugs and providing technical support to colleagues.
• Continuous improvement of development processes and software quality: keeps up with trends and developments in technologies and methodologies in the field.
• Automation and continuous integration by setting up pipelines, unit tests to ensure a stable and functional development, testing, and production environment.
• Collaboration with the agile team in a SAFe environment: works closely with other developers, testers, product owner, and scrum master to deliver software in an iterative and incremental way.
• Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing. Prepares technical documentation and reviews documentation from less experienced developers.

Required Experience and Competencies:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a .NET developer.

Language Skills:

• French-speaking or Dutch-speaking
• Second national language: understanding and elementary written and oral communication
• English: understanding
