Context & Mission

As part of a strategic project in an IT & Taxation environment, our client based in Namur is looking for a Business Analyst to join a team responsible for digital transformation. You are the bridge between business needs and development teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Meet with business users to capture, understand, and validate identified needs
• Document AS IS / TO BE processes and formalize business rules
• Perform functional analyses: Use Cases, diagrams, algorithms, identification of impacted DB objects, description of screens and workflows
• Establish the conceptual and logical data model, create data catalogs, and contribute to improving their quality
• Validate the feasibility of solutions with technical teams and ensure solution consistency within the concerned applications
• Facilitate dialogue between Business and IT throughout implementation (project team: business, dev, tests)
• Write detailed test scenarios
• Regularly report work progress to the team, managers, and stakeholders

Desired Profile

Must-have:

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Bachelor or Master in IT or Management Sciences
• BPMN modeling, UML modeling, Agile/Scrum methodology
• Proven experience in drafting business and functional analyses

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in data projects (feasibility study, data flows, data catalog)
• Knowledge of the tax/financial sector
