THE POSITION
Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for document management and digital processes? Do you want to contribute to the process-driven replacement of legacy systems with a modern SharePoint solution? Is modeling business processes your passion? Then this challenge is for you!
As Business Analyst Electronic Document Management you play a key role in replacing existing legacy systems with a SharePoint-based solution. You design and document processes such as the approval flow for documents and digital signatures, including information flows, system components, and organizational aspects. You work closely with business owners, the IT team, and other stakeholders to ensure that our document management processes meet the highest standards for efficiency, compliance, and archiving.
What exactly do you do as a Business Analyst?
- Analyze and design business processes for document management, including approval flows and digital signatures, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Gather, interpret, and document business needs in multiple languages.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for SharePoint-based solutions and document them.
- Document processes and information flows in Sparx EA (Enterprise Architect) according to the BPMN standard.
- Collaborate with business owners and IT to gather, validate, and convert requirements into workable solutions.
- Support the design and implementation of solutions, such as new document management processes and archiving guidelines, including functional testing and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor compliance with record management and archiving standards.
- Communicate with stakeholders.
Which skills do you need to get started in this job?
- At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst.
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint and document management concepts.
- Experience with the Ometa Framework is a plus.
- Experience with Enterprise Architect (Sparx EA) for process modeling.
- Knowledge of record management and archiving standards.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure complex processes and information flows.
- Excellent communication skills and experience with stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of BPMN and information modeling.
- Experience with functional analysis, wireframes, and user stories.
- Good knowledge of Dutch and French, both spoken and written.
- Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
- Result-oriented and stress-resistant.
- Team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment.
- Clear communication and active listening.
