The Lead Interop & QA coordinates and oversees the interop and QA operations within the ecosystem. The role ensures a structured testing approach, supports vendors and internal stakeholders in KMEHR and FHIR-related initiatives, and monitors quality, testability, risks, and progress for changes, releases, and projects.

Within the Service Desk Vitalink, the role contributes to registration, classification, prioritization, follow-up, communication, and reporting regarding incidents and service requests. The emphasis is on quality assurance, predictable testing operations, correct escalation, and actionable reporting to involved stakeholders.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Directing & following up on the Interop and QA lab
• Monitoring interop & QA activities: time & planning
• Organizing interop tests with vendors
• Following up on interop tests and QA tests
• Active participation in projects from a QA and interop perspective
• Stakeholder management
• Managing the Interoplab mailbox
• Developing the interop test process in FHIR
• Setting up the test flow using ITB together with technical colleagues
• Optimizing/setting up test procedures/processes: interop and QA
• Test analyses and drafting test criteria/test cases/test data
• Challenging analyses/IG for (new) data types
• Providing support to vendors, business regarding existing or new data types (both in KMEHR and FHIR)
• FHIR-a-thon/events (e.g., Vitalink cafés)
