Business Analyst - Support testing

The Business Analyst – Support Testing is responsible for supporting project team members, both from the business and IT sides, in the preparation and execution of testing activities. In this role, he/she represents the interests of the business throughout the various phases of testing.

The testing activities mainly concern the SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phases, primarily within the RESA environment. End-to-End tests may also be conducted.

Within this framework, the Business Analyst – Support Testing is responsible for the following activities in particular:

  • Support business teams in the preparation and execution of tests
  • If necessary, act as a substitute for the business during test execution
  • Create and track defects (anomalies), follow up with stakeholders as needed, and update tracking dashboards
  • Participate in analysis and functional clarification workshops
  • Provide general support for testing activities
  • Communicate the progress of testing to the test coordinator, project manager, and various stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with the Testing governance in force at RESA
  • Perform, upon request, functional analyses and/or gap analyses

Context/Requirements

In order to enable RESA to achieve its objectives — notably the management of social customers and X supply in the central SAP tool — the project requires reinforcement by a Business Analyst – Support Testing (medior level).

The supply management solution is integrated into RESA’s application ecosystem. As such, the project activities also cover integration aspects with various peripheral systems, including CRM, reporting and Business Intelligence tools, as well as interfaces with the Atrias CMS and other components of the information system. The testing and analysis activities may therefore include consideration of these flows and interactions between systems.

This resource will be responsible for supporting the business teams and assisting the project in the daily management of testing-related activities. He/she may also occasionally participate in functional analysis activities, in particular to support requirements clarification, anomaly analysis, or test case preparation.
