Business Architect

General:

You work for the Chief Information Office of Defense in support of the Business Partners. The Business Partners capture the digitalization needs of their assigned business departments. As a Business Architect, you assist the Business Partners and their stakeholders in uncovering and analyzing the current high-level business processes and associated structures, data, and information flows. You are able to translate problems and opportunities into strategic requirements and propose solutions that enable the organization to achieve its digitalization objectives. You focus on understanding needs and delivering a solution and are capable of documenting all of this according to best practices. You are willing to work in a military environment and undergo a security clearance (law of December 11, 1998 regarding classification, security clearances, security certificates, security advice, and the publicly regulated service).

Details:

  • You are an expert in designing and structuring the business architecture (high-level processes of business departments, business capabilities at the business department level, dependencies between business departments, associated data and information flows).

  • You are an expert in the use of SPARX Enterprise Architecture. You can efficiently model documents and interviews in SPARX according to best practices, as well as in Modelling Languages ArchiMate and BPMN.

  • You have experience in various sectors and types of organizations and view it as a challenge to adapt quickly to a new environment.

  • You are willing to leverage your extensive experience in an organization that still needs to take important steps in the implementation of Enterprise Architecture.

  • You possess strong analytical skills for analyzing complex problems, identifying patterns, and making data-driven decisions. You are able to collect and interpret data, conduct root cause analysis, and provide insights to support higher-level decision-making.

  • You are able to identify organizational challenges and can make proposals to resolve these challenges. You can analyze situations, think critically, and develop innovative solutions to achieve the set objectives.

  • You have an excellent eye for detail, ensuring your deliverables are accurate and complete.

  • You are able to quickly surface, analyze, and manage needs in complex organizations. You have experience facilitating requirement workshops and can ensure that needs are well documented and communicated.

  • You have experience analyzing and interpreting data to arrive at meaningful insights. You are familiar with data analysis techniques and tools for making recommendations and supporting decision-making.

  • You are able to communicate smoothly, clearly, and effectively with stakeholders, understand their needs, and manage expectations.

  • You can handle changing environments and are able to learn, both in terms of tools, techniques, and methods.

  • You can collaborate effectively within a multilingual team, are able to facilitate discussions and promote collaboration so that goals can be achieved. You work closely with others to deliver the required deliverables.
