About the job

As a Business Information Analyst, you form a bridge between the business world and the BI world.

You understand and analyze the business needs in terms of insights and BI.

You translate these to the BI-technical side and can convert the needs into a briefing for data engineers.

Next, you work yourself in Power BI to prepare the datasets and more complex reports/dashboards.

In addition to building the new BI environment in Power BI, work is underway on a migration of reporting needs from the existing SAP BI environment to Power BI.

• Description:

• You reinforce the team responsible for data modeling and Power BI reports in support of the business

• You create a functional analysis of the source data for Data Engineers in preparation for the BI needs
• You independently build dimensional data models so that the Data and Reporting Analysts (DRA) can build high-performance dashboards on them
• You provide the complex reports and dashboards for the business and support the DRA in developing/maintaining dashboards
• You are jointly responsible for ensuring that the right insights are provided in the BI layer

• You maintain the existing universes in Power BI and support the Data and Reporting Analysts who use the universes as a source for visualizations/reports

• Profile requirements:

• Experience with Power BI (modeling, DAX, visualization)

• Experience in SAP BI (universe designer)
• Experience with data modeling, data warehouse, reporting, data visualization, ...
• Knowledge of SQL

• Able to quickly acquire business knowledge

• Experience with HR or document management reporting
