Business Testing Coordinator

The Federal Police wants to replace and renew several legacy applications and databases, according to the actual technology standards. These applications support the operational processes of the police; a seamless transition is crucial to guarantee operational business continuity.

The Testing Coordinator coordinates the activities ensuring the delivery of the expected outcomes of a Business project and coordinates the acceptance testing activities of the project.

Typical responsibilities of the Acceptance Testing Coordination include:

  • Challenge and coordinate the review of the Acceptance Test plans of the supplier; including functional and non-functional tests, Operational Acceptance Test, User Acceptance Test
  • Coordinate the review of the Acceptance Test cases, Test Data and Scripts of the supplier
  • Monitor and control the Acceptance Test Data preparation
  • Review Test automating procedures of the supplier (including non-regression testing)
  • Coordinate the provision of access to applications, servers, files, data and any other resources necessary for the completion of all stages of the acceptance tests (subject to confidentiality, possibly anonymous or under strict control)
  • Coordinate the installation of the tools and scripts provided by the supplier and necessary for each stage of the acceptance testing
  • Coordinate the Acceptance Test (planning and execution) regarding the GPI resources (human and technical)
  • Report test results, monitor bug fixes and validate those with the support of police business
  • Prepare and participate in final evaluation of Acceptance tests with the supplier
