Change Expert

Context

As part of its activities, ORES is looking for a change management expert to work within the Tribe Marché.

The mission will ideally start as soon as possible and will extend until the end of the year (renewable), with a full-time work schedule for the first 2 months, then 3 days per week until the end of the year.

Part of the mission can, in agreement with the manager, be carried out through remote work, but a presence on the Gosselies site for at least 2 days per week is mandatory, ideally on the same days as the rest of the team. Additional days of on-site presence may be requested from the consultant, depending on the needs of the service.

The Gosselies site is not easily accessible by public transport, and travel to other sites is planned as part of the mission, so possession of a driving license and a vehicle will be necessary.

Mission

The mission aims to support the implementation of transformations within the Cluster Client, by supporting the evolution of operating modes, collaboration practices, and teams’ steering capabilities.

In a context of strengthening collaboration between business teams (marketing and customer experience) and IT (architecture, delivery, servicing), the consultant will help structure and professionalize practices in order to improve the performance, prioritization, and value creation of initiatives.

The mission will focus on:

  • Supporting the evolution of operating modes towards more collaborative practices between business and IT teams
  • Supporting the structuring of request management, prioritization, and initiative tracking processes
  • Contributing to the improvement of project management practices (planning, dependencies, inter-team coordination)
  • Fostering the adoption of new ways of working (agile, backlog management, product mindset)
  • Supporting the development of a value-oriented culture (real utility for the client or the company, ROI-driven approach / cost-benefit…)

Responsibilities

  1. Identify stakeholders and analyze their expectations
  2. Conduct impact analyses including organizational, operational, and management dimensions
  3. Promote the emergence of more participatory collaboration modes, by developing team empowerment / accountability
  4. Implement rituals that foster active team participation
  5. Structure request and prioritization management practices (backlog, value criteria, arbitration)
  6. Support the formalization of business needs in connection with IT teams (clarification, scoping, structuring)
  7. Contribute to the implementation of management practices (progress tracking, dependencies, risks, reporting)
  8. Define and deploy appropriate communication strategies
  9. Measure adoption progress and adjust actions
  10. Support teams in understanding economic management issues (business case, TCO, prioritization)
  11. Lead and facilitate cross-team collaboration rituals
  12. Contribute to the development of a cross-functional collaboration culture, anchored in transparency and trust between business and IT teams
  13. Ensure structured and decision-oriented reporting
  14. Implement the change management aspect of various Client projects: Data repository, CRM, Digitalization & self-service…
