As CISO at Aquafin, you are ultimately responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the information security policy within the organization. You safeguard digital security, identify risks, ensure compliance with laws and regulations (such as NIS2 and ISO 27001), and lead the response to cyber incidents.

You are active within the compliance department, with the compliance manager and DPO office as valued colleagues and sounding boards.

In consultation with the Head of Legal, you have direct access to the management team and focus on:

Strategy and Policy: Developing a cybersecurity strategy that aligns with business objectives.
Risk Management: Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating information security risks.
Compliance: Ensuring the organization complies with legislation and standards (e.g. GDPR, NIS2).
Incident Response: Leading the response to data breaches and cyberattacks.
Awareness: Raising security awareness among employees.
Advisory: Advising the board/management on security investments.

The CISO is the link between technology, the workplace, and senior management, ensuring that security is an integral part of business operations.
