SPW Digital is developing its configuration management database (CMDB).

This database relies on numerous data sources (VCenter, SharePoint, Excel, REST APIs from other solutions, ESB, etc.).

SPW Digital integrates multiple data sources, transforms them, and validates them. This produces a single source, which then feeds into Jira Assets, the ITSM tool used at SPW.

The objectives of the assignment are

• to create connectors to data sources
• to create web services to expose this data
• to review the database schema (relationships between the data)
• to document the actions and development
• to maintain the entire chain
• to cooperate with the entire project team as well as all external stakeholders

The deliverables of the assignment (non-exhaustive list) are

• to create functional diagrams
• to create connectors to data sources
• to create web services to expose this data
• to produce technical and functional documentation

Evaluation method

The required experience will be used as an exclusion criterion based on the CV and/or cover letter.

Specific questions will be used to exclude candidates.

Candidates meeting the criteria will be interviewed based on the assignment description to verify the expected technical and behavioral skills.
