CRM Marketing Cloud Developer

STIB is continuing the evolution of its CRM environment centered on Salesforce Marketing Cloud. In this context, it is looking for a Marketing Cloud Technical Developer to take over maintenance and ensure the continuous development of the platform.

Mission objectives:

Ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of digital marketing campaigns, while developing new customer journeys, optimizing data processing, and ensuring integration with the Salesforce ecosystem.

Main responsibilities:

  • Evolutionary and corrective maintenance of the Marketing Cloud platform.
  • Design, development, and implementation of personalized customer journeys.
  • Creation of queries, scripts, dynamic components, and complex automations.
  • Continuous optimization of campaigns based on performance and user feedback.
  • Active participation in the integration and reliability of data flows with other components of the Salesforce ecosystem.

The consultant will work in a multidisciplinary team, with collaborative working methods and a strong focus on quality, performance, and customer experience.

Essential technical skills:

Salesforce Marketing Cloud: perfect command of Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Contact Builder, Cloud Pages.
Advanced SQL: management and manipulation of complex Data Extensions.
Front-end development: HTML, CSS for responsive and dynamic emails.
AMPscript: scripting in emails, pages, and journeys.
JavaScript: for Cloud Pages and custom processing.
Python: for scripts in automations, data processing, integrations, or API.

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Excellent command of the platform (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages).

  • Advanced mastery of SQL, AMPscript, and SSJS for campaign personalization and automation.
  • Experience with MC Connect and management of Synchronized Data Extensions.
  • Knowledge of Mobile SDK for integration with mobile applications (Android/iOS).

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud

  • Good knowledge of standard and custom objects.

  • Ability to manage flows, triggers, and data integration via API or batch.

  • Front-End Development (Email)

  • Very good command of HTML/CSS for developing responsive emails.

  • Awareness of multi-client rendering constraints and optimizations (Dark Mode, compatibility).

Additional expected knowledge:

  • Good understanding of Salesforce Core, especially data exchanges between systems.
  • Experience in using and optimizing Automation Studio and Journey Builder.
  • Good management of Marketing Cloud APIs for external data integration.

Tasks to be performed in more detail:

  • Define technical specifications based on business requirements.
  • Develop technical modules and implement user stories.
  • Design and implement complex journeys in Journey Builder (SQL, targeting, triggers).
  • Create and optimize HTML/CSS email templates compatible with all clients, including Dark Mode.
  • Integrate new data sources into Sales Cloud (Digital Ticket, unit ticket).
  • Implement new consent models (opt-in / opt-out), compliant with GDPR.
  • Participate in the implementation of mobile double opt-in via the Marketing Cloud SDK (Floya application).
  • Audit and improve synchronization between Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
  • Support E2E, SIT, and UAT testing.
  • Manage deployments and release management.
  • Fix anomalies detected during test campaigns.
  • Write technical documentation related to developments.

The mission may be renewed for a maximum duration (including the initial period) of: 880 working days.
