Cybersecurity Project Manager – Operations

Cybersecurity Project Manager

As a Cybersecurity Project Manager – Operations at TEC, you will join the operational department (CDS + Infrastructure) within the IT division.

You are the operational counterpart of the Cybersecurity Program Manager (Support department) and are responsible for translating the cybersecurity roadmap into concrete, planned actions executed by the operational teams.

You coordinate, plan, and prioritize security initiatives in connection with the technical teams, in order to contribute to NIS2 compliance and to the overall strengthening of OTW’s security posture.

In this role, your success depends as much on your technical skills as on your interpersonal abilities: your communication skills, your ability to bring together a variety of stakeholders and foster collaboration allow you to efficiently coordinate contributions.

YOUR MISSIONS

  • Translate the cybersecurity roadmap (led by the Cybersecurity Program Manager) into operational action plans for CDS and Infra
  • Coordinate the technical implementation of security measures (hardening, patching, monitoring, IAM, vulnerability management, etc.)
  • Plan and follow up on work, integrating security priorities into ongoing projects and system maintenance
  • Identify resource and skills gaps necessary for execution and propose solutions (training, reinforcements, creation of a dedicated team)
  • Work closely with the CDS and Infra teams, acting as their operational security point of contact
  • Produce the expected deliverables on the operational side: execution schedules, progress reports, operational security dashboards
  • Contribute to preparation for NIS2 certification, by documenting the technical implementation of requirements and ensuring the link between strategy and execution

YOUR PROFILE

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, with experience in technical project management and/or cybersecurity
  • You have a good understanding of operational IT environments (systems, networks, identities, endpoints, cloud, monitoring)
  • You possess strong knowledge in cybersecurity (protection measures, risk management, best practices, NIS2 framework)
  • You know how to plan, prioritize, and coordinate cross-functional actions in a complex environment
  • You have an analytical and structured mindset, with a strong results-oriented approach
  • Naturally collaborative, you can communicate effectively with both technical profiles and non-technical decision-makers

Remarks

  • The candidate must possess the minimum required skills and experience.
  • The candidate must have perfect command of the French language, both spoken and written.
  • The assignment will be carried out mainly on-site in Namur on a full-time basis.
  • The candidate must be flexible and may need to travel to our various business units across Wallonia to meet with certain business teams.
  • Consultancy days are 8 hours.
  • Two fixed telework days are possible.
  • Monday or Thursday cannot be worked remotely; presence on-site is required.
  • Except in cases of agreement with the team manager, working hours must correspond to the same hours as internal employees, namely:

  • The start of the day must be between 7:30 am and 9:00 am, lunch break must be taken between 11:45 am and 2:00 pm, and the end of the workday must be between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm

  • Therefore, the presence slots from 9:00 am to 11:45 am and from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm must be respected.
