Job Summary

We are looking for a tester specializing in automation with Cypress to strengthen our automated testing strategy. You will be responsible for the design, execution, and continuous improvement of these tests to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of our applications. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests with Cypress.
• Identify, document, and track anomalies until their resolution.
• Ensure the integration of tests into CI/CD pipelines according to department standards.
• Optimize test coverage.
• Participate in the creation and validation of scenarios suitable for automation.
• Implement and maintain test data.
• Collaborate with technical teams to improve the testability of applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Assist in the implementation of reporting related to automated tests.

Skills

• Experience in web test automation with Cypress.
• Good command of JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Knowledge of test frameworks and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins…).
• Understanding of web architectures, REST APIs, and E2E testing.
• Use of Git.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Awareness of QA best practices (BDD, TDD, etc.).
• French or Dutch: active knowledge (comprehension / speaking / technical documentation writing / reading) of one of the two languages.
• English (documentation writing): active knowledge.

Desired Profile

• Degree in computer science or equivalent experience in QA/testing.
• Rigor, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
• Good team spirit and ability to communicate with both technical and business profiles.
• Autonomy and proactivity in improving software quality.
• Experience in front-end development or advanced automation is a plus.
• ISTQB Foundation certification is a plus.
