Your main tasks

• Content translation:

• Collaborating with business analysts and subject-matter experts to translate raw input into technically feasible KPIs within the data models.

• Defining the technical calculation logic and selecting appropriate visualizations (such as bar charts, line charts, and KPI cards).

• Technical preparation & development:

• Dashboarding: importing data models/datasets and building the actual visualizations in Cognos

• Interactivity: configuring filters, drill-downs to detail reports, and dashboard prompts.
• Mock-up translation: you convert validated mock-ups into production environments, maintaining the balance between aesthetics (UX/UI in accordance with corporate identity) and technical feasibility

• UX/UI: ensuring that the dashboard complies with the prescribed corporate identity and developing technical documentation and manuals

• Quality assurance and testing:

• You are ultimately responsible for performance; you optimize the underlying models to ensure dashboards load quickly and correctly

• Validating figures against source reports and testing security roles

• Documenting findings in Schakel cases for further follow-up.

• Management and Maintenance:

• Resolving bugs and implementing adjustments after annual check-ups of KPI definitions.
