Mission Terms

As part of its activities, ORES is seeking a Transversal Data Analyst. This is a full-time assignment estimated to last 8-9 months and ideally starting asap (renewable).

Part of the assignment may, in agreement with the manager, be performed remotely, but presence at the Gosselies site for at least 2 days per week is mandatory. Additional days of on-site presence may be requested from the consultant, depending on the service's needs (occasionally). As the Gosselies site is not easily accessible by public transport, possession of a driving license and a vehicle will be necessary for travel.

Mission Context

The Data Analyst will join the transversal Reporting team within the Strategy & Transformation Department.

The Data Analyst's mission is to process and enhance data. Their role consists of analyzing business data to support decision-making for transversal activities. They provide advanced expertise in data analysis to support strategic decisions, optimize processes, and contribute to innovation within the company.

Main Tasks

  1. Decision support for the establishment of policies and master plans

  2. Develop and implement models and algorithms to collect, store, process, and present data in multiple dimensions

  3. Provide advanced analyses to inform the company's strategic decision-making.
  4. Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify data needs and propose suitable solutions for all business units.

  5. Enhancement of transversal data

  6. Analyze trends, internal processes, and operational performance using appropriate techniques

  7. Develop prospective scenarios to anticipate the evolution of business needs and optimize resources.
  8. Design dashboards and interactive visualizations with Power BI to facilitate result interpretation by decision-making teams.

  9. Contribution to company projects

  10. Contribute to various organizational projects.

  11. Ensure effective communication with other departments to promote the integration of developed analyses and models.
  12. Participate in working groups and digital transformation initiatives within the company.
