Job Title: Data Engineer (Federal Judicial Police)

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Data Engineer with a passion for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL processes and data warehouses. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SQL databases and preferably also NoSQL databases, with a proven track record in optimizing data infrastructures to support, among other things, decision-making processes.

Core Competencies:

• ETL/ELT Development and Management: Expertise in building and maintaining advanced ETL/ELT processes to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

• Data Warehousing: In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and techniques, with experience in designing scalable and reliable data storage solutions. Knowledge of dbt and medallion architecture.

• Database Management (SQL & NoSQL): Proficiency in working with both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases, including but not limited to MySQL, PostgreSQL, Neo4j, Elastic DB, etc.

• API Integration: Experience in developing and integrating via APIs.

• Data Modeling: Experience in designing and implementing data models that enhance performance and simplify complex queries.

• Data Quality, Integrity, Security: Strong focus on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data. Good knowledge of security capabilities.

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc., for process automation and data analysis.

• Good Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to consult with end users, technical staff, and other stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills to resolve complex technical challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.

Education:

• Minimum a bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Data Engineering / Data Science / Business Informatics or equivalent.

• Demonstrable experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and database management.

Technical Skills:

• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL (Nice to have: Neo4j, Elastic DB)

• ETL/ELT Tools: Python, dbt (Nice to have: MS Fabric)

• Data: Python, PL/SQL, T-SQL (Nice to have: RDF/OWL, GraphQL, CIPHER)

• API Development: REST

• Cloud Platforms: Azure (Nice to have: AWS)

• BI Tools: Power BI
