Delivery Management

Mission Description

As a PMO / Delivery Manager, you will be working within the Information Systems (IS) department, providing direct support to the IS Transformation Program and the CIO Office.

You will contribute to the execution of IS development Initiatives prioritized by the ExCom in the annual IAB.

You report to the head of the IS Transformation Program and work closely with:

  • IS domain leads,
  • Project Managers and delivery leads,
  • External partners,
  • Business stakeholders,
  • The CIO office and the IS PMO.

Your role combines responsibilities in delivery management, cross-functional coordination, and PMO governance, in order to ensure consistency, execution, control, and overall performance of strategic IS initiatives.

Your main responsibilities

Delivery management of IS initiatives

  • Support the operational translation of ExCom priorities into concrete IS initiatives and projects, with clear scopes, aligned with the various Business and IS stakeholders.
  • Ensure the overall management of the delivery of critical IS development initiatives (scope, planning, dependencies, risks, capacities).
  • Ensure proper synchronization between critical projects and run activities impacted by these projects.
  • Monitor the progress of deliverables, identify alerts, and propose corrective actions in case of deviations.

PMO / Governance responsibilities

  • Support PMs and the CIO Office in evaluating prioritized requests in terms of value, impacts, dependencies, and delivery capacity.
  • Coordinate, for critical projects, the planning of IS resources (internal and external) in connection with the domain leads.
  • Support PMs of critical projects, as needed, in identifying points potentially blocking project execution, and in seeking solutions with IS management.
  • Where necessary, support departments and projects in the application of specific key management processes such as Sourcing & Procurement management, Vendor management, Scope management, Stakeholder management, Risk management, Planning management, Budget management, etc.
  • Ensure qualitative reporting from PMs to IS management and governance bodies (Boards, SteerCo, ExCom, program committees).

Continuous improvement and performance

  • Contribute to the alignment of project practices (methodologies, standards, tools) within the IS department.
  • Capitalize on feedback from critical projects and support the PMO Office in proposing and implementing measures to improve the application of project methodologies in force within IS.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between IS teams, external partners, and business units.
  • Act as a PMO / Delivery point of reference for critical and structuring initiatives.

  • French or Dutch: excellent
  • Second language (French or Dutch): very good
  • English: good

Additional information: The mission may be extended for a maximum duration (initial duration included) of: 880 working days.
