Profile "Developer (expert) for the AWIS project - sewer inventory (custom development):

For 2026, the RUN program consists of further completing the reduction notifications by using installation dates, technical upgrades (geoserver, front-end), content updates (VHA, IE's) and especially the migration from Lambert72 to Lambert2008.

As a developer, you are responsible for improving the network information that the sewer managers upload to the platform and the products derived from it.
To do this, you have thorough knowledge of the front-end components (Angular), geographic visualization (Openlayers) as well as backend (Java Spring / Postgresql / POSTGIS). Based on the functional analyses, you make a technical analysis and discuss this with the team to arrive at a good solution.
You consult with the technical team about the standards and build pipelines that are used. You are also responsible for any adjustments to authentication/authorization (ACM/IDM OID).

General:

• Work is carried out within an Agile environment
• The work must be performed at the VMM offices in Aalst
• This is an assignment of 100 Md. Depending on the available budget, fewer days may be taken and the duration of the contract may be shorter.
• VMM provides the necessary licenses, software and network access for the execution of the assignment. VMM does not provide an Office license. Office 365 software can be made available by VMM, but without a license. The applicant must use their own company license. Alternatively, LibreOffice can be made available.

Context/Requirements:

You work as a developer expert for the Digital Solutions department of VMM and you are engaged in a project to improve network information on domestic wastewater, program AWIS 2.0.
