BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ASSIGNMENTS*

The IT department of FEDASIL, being responsible for managing several ICT projects, has realized that some of these projects require the involvement of external resources to complement the skills available internally.

Therefore, it is planned to engage external personnel to work closely with internal teams on two specific projects, namely the CAAMI4FEDASIL project.

The use of external resources in addition to internal resources is considered an ideal solution for these two projects, due to the complexity and expertise required. This will allow the company to supplement existing skills and ensure the successful completion of the projects within the best possible timeframe and with the required quality.

The CAAMI4FEDASIL project:

As part of the CAAMI4FEDASIL project, aimed at facilitating data exchange between CAAMI and FEDASIL, the FEDASIL IT department needs to recruit several IT professionals to work in collaboration with FEDASIL's internal staff, according to a mixed team model.

The project will take place in the SMALS cloud, namely OPENSHIFT, and will be divided into three distinct parts.

• The first part consists of designing and developing all the IT microservices required for the project.
• The second part concerns the overall project management,
• The third part involves configuring the infrastructure in collaboration with SMALS.

Ultimately, this ambitious project will facilitate data exchange between several federal entities, including FPS Interior, CAAMI, and BCSS.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DESIRED PROFILE

The selected candidate must have prior professional experience in:

• Working in an organization similar to BOSA or FEDASIL,
• Mastering REST interfaces,
• Having work experience with the SMALS environment,
• Being able to perform refactoring, including creating interfaces.
• Having leadership skills within a team of junior developers

These selection criteria are considered essential to successfully carry out the aforementioned projects, ensuring adequate work quality and technical competence.

Senior Java/Javascript & Backend Developer

Skills:

• Cloud knowledge (Kubernetes), network technologies, systems and applications
• Project management knowledge (PM2 or Prince2, Agile – SCRUM)
• REST interfaces
• JAVASCRIPT / JAVA
• Kubernetes and Docker are considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the developer team and the Project manager

Leadership abilities:

• Coaching junior developers
• Making technical decisions
• Distributing tasks among developers

• Reporting progress and obstacles

• Risk analysis, escalation

• Project deliveries; scope and timing
• Mentoring Developer
• Documentation

Experience:

• Projects of comparable size (3000 man days)
• Kubernetes / Docker

The assignment will begin upon signing the purchase order. The budget allocated to the assignment may be spent only this year. The duration of the assignment will therefore depend on the date of signing the purchase order.
