We are looking for

A Dutch-speaking analyst for projects for the Flemish government (NL). At least five years of experience for a long-term assignment. The analyst will be part of a team of developers, architects, test analysts, project leaders, and fellow analysts in an Agile team. Development is done in Java and the analyses are written in Dutch.

Your role

• As an IT Analyst, you are a key figure in a project. Clients come to you with their digitalization questions and requirements, which you translate into a workable concept that developers can use. You closely monitor projects to successfully complete them together with your colleagues.

• More specifically, you thoroughly understand the stakeholders' business and translate this into process analyses. You are responsible for defining and assessing the requirements in order to model the issues into a functional and/or technical design. In close consultation with the client and your team members, you address quality requirements, impact and risks, application security, ...

• After the functional design, you guide the developers by thoroughly informing and supporting them throughout the entire development process. In addition to coordination, you also keep an eye on quality and inform the project manager about developments that may impact the project. You do not lose sight of the client's priorities.

• As an IT Analyst, you understand the customer's needs and it is natural for you to assist the developers by preparing and executing functional tests so that the final result meets the client's requirements. You also support stakeholders by providing them with the necessary documentation and training.

Your profile

• You have obtained a master's or bachelor's degree in an economic or technical field with already some significant experience in the IT sector. You have built up some technical background, for example in analysis methods, RUP, Scrum, data management, development, ...

• You are an excellent communication partner at various levels. Your strong communication skills make you the ideal intermediary between stakeholders and IT experts.

• You are characterized by an analytical and synthetic mind.

• Thanks to your organizational skills and team-oriented approach, you know how to tackle projects in a structured way. With your sense of efficiency, flexibility, and quality, you make the difference.
