We are looking for

EXPERT – LONG-TERM ASSIGNMENT. A Dutch-speaking analyst for projects for the Flemish government (NL). At least five years of experience for a long-term assignment. The analyst is part of a team of developers, architects, test analysts, project leaders, and fellow analysts in an Agile team. Development takes place in Java and analyses are written in Dutch.

Your role

• As an IT Analyst, you are a key player in a project. Clients come to you with their digitalization questions and requirements, which you translate into a workable concept that developers can use. You closely monitor projects to successfully complete them together with your colleagues.

• More concretely, you gain insight into the business of the stakeholders and translate this into process analyses. You are responsible for defining and assessing the needs to model the issues into a functional and/or technical design. In close consultation with the client and your team members, you address the quality requirements, impact and risks, application security, …

• After the functional design, you guide the developers by thoroughly informing and supporting them throughout the entire development process. In addition to coordination, you also keep an eye on quality and inform the project manager about developments that may impact the project. You do not lose sight of the client's priorities.

• As an IT Analyst, you understand the client's needs and it goes without saying that you support the developers by preparing and executing functional tests so that the final result meets the client's requirements. You also support stakeholders by providing them with the necessary documentation and training.

Your profile

• You have obtained a master's or bachelor's degree in an economic or technical field with already some solid experience in the IT sector. You have built up certain technical knowledge in, for example, analysis methods, RUP, Scrum, data management, development, …

• You are an excellent conversation partner at various levels. Your strong communication skills make you the ideal mediator between stakeholders and IT experts.

• You are characterized by an analytical and synthetic mindset.

• Thanks to your organizational skills and team-oriented approach, you know how to tackle projects in a structured way. With your sense of efficiency, flexibility, and quality, you make a difference.
