ABOUT THE POSITION

The position is responsible for designing and drafting technical solutions (including tools, aids, electrical circuits, cabinet layouts, etc.) with the aim of meeting operational and commercial needs, requiring creativity, problem-solving, and customer focus within his/her area of expertise.

  • Preparing design assignments (new or modifications) and gathering missing data, in order to gain a thorough understanding of the situation and have all necessary information to develop an efficient concept.
  • Studying sketches and design drawings.
  • Conducting measurements.
  • Looking up documentation and checking the correctness of the provided information.

  • Developing design assignments by using specialized drawing and design programs from concept to execution drawing, aiming to deliver drawings in accordance with legal guidelines and client requirements.

  • Preparing the corresponding (electrical) diagrams and drawings (P&IDs, building and piping plans, etc.) of installations, constructions, tools, and accessories.
  • Making calculations (e.g. strength calculations, checking cable sections). Selecting materials, components, etc., taking into account technical, nuclear, safety, and economic requirements.

  • Monitoring the maintenance of the drawing archive to ensure the production of high-quality plan prints and to provide the most up-to-date data for the client.

  • Registering and following up the drawing throughout the cycle (design -> as built).
  • Registering drawings/data in the appropriate tools/database.
  • Participating in the preparation of specifications and monitoring compliance during design.

  • Providing and sharing information and technical expertise regarding designs, drawings, or plans with the aim of supporting third parties in their activities.

  • Preparing specifications and price requests.
  • Preparing technical construction files.
  • Answering technical questions from internal or external parties (e.g. suppliers).

  • Drafting or reviewing CE / MOC / construction files (or being willing to acquire the necessary knowledge)
