1. Job Description

Drafting an integrated and consolidated data model for the organization's data in order to properly exploit it and to guarantee the usability and sustainable quality of applications; this includes, among other things:

• Taking a leading role in mapping out the different data flows and data objects within SFPD, both from a technical and business perspective
• Developing a data catalog, an overview of the data flows, and a conceptual data model for the entire organization
• Maintaining the above deliverables and ensuring their continuity in order to meet the needs and guarantee the efficiency of the information systems
• Co-developing, continuously optimizing, and monitoring the enterprise architecture (focus: data/information)
• Contributing to the definition, documentation, maintenance, and communication of the necessary methodologies and standards (focus: data/information)
• Assisting in supporting strategic decisions, including by determining the impact of various scenarios and providing the essential and sufficient information needed to make decisions (focus: data/information)
• Contributing to the detailing and concretization of the target architecture, supported by the organization and aligned with IT and business strategic objectives (focus: data/information)
• Participating in the definition of transformations: contributing to business cases (including Buy vs. Build), RFPs, defining master plans and programs, realization of proofs of concept, etc.
• Monitoring the quality of the products developed by ICT, in collaboration with the application architects (focus: data/information)
• Assisting in the identification, classification, and mitigation of information security risks in IT systems and processes in order to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data, with particular attention to preserving the integrity of sensitive data
• Keeping up with trends (new technologies)
• Promoting, applying, and translating generally accepted standards within Data Architecture (such as DMBOK) to the various teams, taking into account internal transformation processes and other applicable standards within SFPD

• Supporting other roles (architects, DBAs, analysts, etc.) in the use of the architecture and standards

• Technical and Generic Competencies

• Experience in setting up, implementing, and monitoring Data Architecture governance and data architecture

• Analytical and strategic thinking: able to perform impact analysis, evaluate scenarios, and substantiate decisions
• Possess the necessary technical background to engage in constructive and substantive dialogue with IT experts
• You have the necessary leadership qualities to engage your stakeholders in Data Governance and decision-making
• You are an excellent communicator, you bring structure to your stakeholders, and you work in a methodical way
• Experience in change management. You can guide transformations and manage resistance effectively
• Collaboration-oriented: works effectively with various roles (architects, project managers, business analysts, developers) and stimulates cross-domain collaboration
• Autonomy and result-oriented mindset
• Assets: Experience in the public sector, knowledge of pensions and the Belgian social security system

The place of employment is Brussels. We offer the possibility to telework part-time.
