To strengthen our IT department, we are currently looking for an ERP Business Analyst.

Function Context

“NIRAS and its subsidiary Belgoprocess have decided to update their current Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system, ‘Microsoft AX2012’, to ‘Microsoft Dynamics 365FO’. In addition to its use for managing financial and procurement processes, NIRAS/Belgoprocess also wishes to deploy D365FO for the management of its industrial processes. At present, a blueprint is being drawn up for the implementation of the new ERP system for all these processes. This blueprint will be the basis for the later implementation of the ERP system.

With regard to the industrial processes, there is a need for a senior/expert business analyst ERP to optimize the relevant processes and translate them into the standards of the ERP system as input for the blueprint.

We are looking for a business analyst Microsoft D365 specializing in Finance, Supply Chain, Production, responsible for analyzing the industrial business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing strategic advice in the setup of these processes in the Microsoft D365 ERP package.”

What skills do you need to successfully complete this assignment

• Detailed knowledge of processes and requirements in the process industry and supply chain processes in a manufacturing organization
• Applying detailed knowledge of D365FO in the areas of Procurement, Planning, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Production, MES, and Asset Management to various production flows (converging and diverging)
• Thorough knowledge of related areas such as Finance (including cost price and analysis), Planning, Inventory and Warehouse Management in D365FO
• Knowledge and ability to align (Supply Chain) processes of 2 different organizations transversally and to effectively support them with D365FO
• You are familiar with methodologies around needs analysis, process modeling, and optimization
• You have strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze and solve complex problems
• Strong advocate of an integrated solution based on the Microsoft Dynamics platform, with an initial focus on D365FO
• Sensitive and skilled in guiding change among Belgoprocess/Niras employees as well as effectively and engagingly involving them in project activities
• Thinking and operating from processes
• Creative in devising process-supporting solutions based on standard Microsoft Dynamics software
• Senior / expert level knowledge of and experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics
• Able to clearly and efficiently document (not) made decisions in Dutch and/or English
