ETNIC (Entreprise pour les Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication) is the IT operator for the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. As a public interest organization, ETNIC’s mission is to design, develop, maintain, and evolve information systems and technological infrastructures serving the administrations and institutions of the FWB.

A central player in the digital transformation of the French-speaking Belgian public sector, ETNIC operates in various fields such as:

• Management of IT infrastructures (networks, security, data centers, cloud)
• Development of custom business applications
• Support for digital projects (functional analysis, UX/UI, project management)
• Cybersecurity and data protection
• User support and training

With a constant focus on innovation, performance, and public service, ETNIC regularly collaborates with external partners to strengthen its teams through IT consultancy assignments. These collaborations take place within an ethical and professional framework, focused on quality and the concrete impact of the delivered solutions.

ETNIC is seeking to add several testers to strengthen its team.

Expected Technical Skills

• Proficiency in manual functional testing techniques (regression, exploratory, etc.)
• Identify and write test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
• Prepare the execution of test cases (including preparation of initial conditions: test data, etc.)
• Manually execute these test cases
• Analyze and document test results, record bugs, defects, and other issues
• Classify bugs, track their resolution, and provide bug reporting
• Provide support in resolving identified errors in collaboration with the various teams (business, functional, and development)
• Validate fixes with the business and communicate results

• Supervise and direct the necessary collaborators to ensure the proper completion of testing tasks

• Solid knowledge of Agile principles (Scrum, Kanban)

• Mandatory experience with the following tools:

• defect management: Mantis

• test management: Xqual

• automation with Agilitest

• Basic understanding of test environments and deployment processes with gitlab & docker

• Familiarity with databases and SQL queries
