ETNIC (Entreprise pour les Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication) is the IT operator of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. As a public interest organization, ETNIC’s mission is to design, develop, maintain, and evolve information systems and technological infrastructures serving the administrations and institutions of the FWB.

As a central player in the digital transformation of the Belgian French-speaking public sector, ETNIC operates in various domains such as:

• Management of IT infrastructures (networks, security, data centers, cloud),
• Development of custom business applications,
• Support for digital projects (functional analysis, UX/UI, project management),
• Cybersecurity and data protection,
• User support and training.

ETNIC wishes to enlist the services of several testers to reinforce its team.

Expected Technical Skills

• Proficiency in manual functional testing techniques (regression, exploratory, etc.)
• Identify and write test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
• Prepare the execution of test cases (including preparation of initial conditions: test data, etc.)
• Execute these test cases manually
• Analyze and document test results, record bugs, defects, and other issues
• Classify bugs, track bug resolution, and provide bug reporting
• Provide support in resolving identified errors in collaboration with different teams (business, functional, and development)
• Validate fixes with the business and communicate the results

• Supervise and lead the necessary collaborators for the proper execution of testing tasks

• Solid knowledge of Agile principles (Scrum, Kanban)

• Mandatory experience with the following tools:

• defect management: Mantis

• test management: Xqual

• automation with Agilitest

• Basic understanding of test environments and deployment processes with gitlab & docker

• Familiarity with databases and SQL queries

Additional Information

• The assignment is hybrid with 50% of the time on-site.
