JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be part of the Automation expertise service, where you are responsible for the follow-up of the realization of new and existing nuclear installations in relation to automation and compliance.

You carry out tasks, monitor, and follow up on all matters important for automation, ensuring that installations are delivered in accordance with the specifications, requirements, safety regulations, and the safety report. This is from the study phase through to testing and any changes in design or execution, both for new and existing installations.

Areas of Responsibility

• Following up on changes to existing installations and new installations/buildings, with the aim of ensuring they meet the applicable specifications, requirements, safety regulations, and the safety report.
• Monitoring and assessing automation and instrumentation systems within projects and existing installations.
• Working with and assessing Siemens PLC and SCADA systems.
• Applying technical knowledge regarding industrial networks, frequency converters, instrumentation, etc.
• Reading, interpreting, and assessing technical documents such as P&IDs and electrical diagrams.
• Programming is usually carried out by external parties. The focus is therefore not on programming yourself, but on technically understanding, checking, and monitoring the delivered solutions.
• Organizing and/or participating in periodic follow-up meetings with the various stakeholders and reporting the results in writing.
• Coordinating with project managers, maintenance, technical services, site supervisors, and external parties.
• Clearly documenting and reporting technical findings.
• Ensuring correct administrative and documentary follow-up of technical dossiers.
• Drawing up and following up test and inspection plans, including test documents, and coordinating the necessary control moments.
• Ensuring that changes, findings, and decisions are correctly documented and remain traceable.
• Collaborating with the project team and the site supervisors who monitor the technical execution.
• Acting as a technical discussion partner between various disciplines and stakeholders.
• Communicating effectively in an environment where safety, quality, and proper information flow are essential.
• Being regularly present at the various sites and installations.
• The position requires frequent presence in a controlled zone.
• The candidate must therefore be willing to undergo the required medical screening.
