Expert in Transformation Programs
Role Description:
In the context of cost savings, the General Support Services of the RIZIV wish to thoroughly review their internal operations and develop a transformation program to achieve higher operational excellence and realize the necessary efficiency gains, without compromising customer focus and the quality of service delivery.
As an expert in transformation programs, you support the management team of the General Support Services in formulating an overarching transformation program, aimed at increasing the operational excellence and customer focus of the service. You assist the team in defining an ambitious vision and determining strategic objectives in the areas of process optimization, process automation, quality systems, tooling & applications, etc. Together with the management team, you develop a concrete business case for all support services.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the Strategic Planning Process:
- Contribute to the strategic planning process of the General Support Services by challenging current processes on maturity, efficiency, and quality, and providing insights regarding potential improvements.
- Assist in formulating ambitious yet achievable objectives regarding efficiency increase, process improvement, automation, etc.
- Guide the management team in aligning operational objectives with the organization's overarching strategic goals.
Planning:
- Support in developing the transformation program: assist in setting up governance, designing the program plan, and establishing the necessary follow-up mechanisms.
- Guide the program team in the execution of projects.
Setting Up Management Tools:
- Identify suitable management tools to evaluate the achievements of the transformation program and the underlying projects.
- Support the program team in drafting an implementation plan.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in designing large transformation programs.
- At least 10 years of experience in process optimization and program/project management.
- Insight into the functioning of the support processes of public sector organizations.
- In-depth knowledge of management tools and processes.
- Skill in coaching and training employees.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
