IT Security Specialist

Mission Context:

As various maturity studies have shown, the overall level of cybersecurity at FPS Justice is still low. Several projects have been launched to increase maturity. Part of these take place in our internal network and datacenter and concern, among other things, network segmentation and (web application) firewalling.

Profile Description:

The specialist is responsible for the operational management, maintenance, and optimization of the network and security infrastructure. The role ensures high availability, security, and performance of corporate networks and applications.

Core Responsibilities:

• Managing and monitoring the network and security architecture, with an emphasis on F5 load balancing and Fortinet firewall solutions.
• Ensuring optimal availability and performance of business-critical systems and applications.
• Contributing to the further development of the network architecture and the implementation of security policies.
• Supporting projects and changes in the area of network improvement, segmentation, and security enhancement.
• Advising on technical risks, security measures, and structural improvements.

Continuity: The network and security infrastructure function stably, reliably, and in accordance with internal and external requirements.
Security: Network and data traffic are adequately protected against threats and unauthorized access.
Optimization: The infrastructure is proactively maintained and improved, with attention to efficiency and future readiness.
