Expert Project Manager – Modernization of ONSS Accounts – Phase 3

The Employer Accounts Modernization Program (ONSS) is ongoing.

We are looking for an experienced project manager capable of managing two projects simultaneously.

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead these projects: establish the scope, planning, and budget, and manage them, meaning anticipate and report. We are looking for someone experienced in managing administrative management solution development projects.

This project manager will need to manage and monitor the execution of the projects so that the applications are brought into production within the set budgets and deadlines, with efficiency and success.

This entails, among other things:

  • In collaboration and consultation with the various relevant SPOCs, regularly monitor the progress of the projects, both from a development and infrastructure/production perspective, in terms of deadlines, budget, and quality, and report to the client. Based on solid analysis, propose the necessary measures.
  • Document and report on project progress and encountered issues.
  • Organize the go-live.
  • Take the necessary measures to resolve identified issues (simplify problem resolution, propose solutions, etc.) and discuss these solutions with the client manager, technical project manager, and the client.
  • Handle change requests: analyze the consequences, propose solutions, and discuss them with the client manager, technical project manager, and the client.
  • Diligently allocate activities and verify allocations.
  • Ensure communication between the parties involved in the project, motivate them to participate, and stimulate teamwork.
  • Manage the resources of the project group.

We are looking for someone competent in:

  • High-level understanding of the scope and business in order to provide the main project directions to the team
  • Definition and monitoring of the planning
  • Definition and monitoring of the budget
  • Monitoring of the scope
  • Reporting to the project manager
  • Day-to-day follow-up of the team
  • Monitoring and escalation of risks at the program level
  • Ensuring that standards and methodology are properly followed, and that documentation exists in the correct location
  • Capacity management in collaboration with the service manager
  • Basic skills:
  • Good communication with diplomacy (the client is not always easy) and assertiveness
  • Time and priority management
  • Role model and coach for the team
    • Scrum/Agile coach is a plus
  • Thoughtful delegation
  • Presentation for the client (or guidance of analysts)
  • Management by exception (escalate issues if and when necessary)
