Expert Technique Enterprise Architect (Factory BPMN)

Ores is looking for a Technical Expert Enterprise Architect for its BPMN Factory.

The mission aims to guarantee the stability, quality, and operationalization of the entire technical chain of the BPMN Factory, ensuring integration between modeling tools (Sparx EA, PCS, WebEA), data sources (SQL BPMN, InfoProc/InfoServ), automated pipelines, associated Azure services, and transformation environments.
The role supports Enterprise Architecture activities and BPMN experts without leadership responsibility.
It acts as a technical support point, troubleshooting reference, and technical guarantor for service continuity.

Part of the mission can, in agreement with the manager, be performed remotely, but a presence at the Gosselies site for a minimum of 2 days per week is mandatory, ideally on the same days as the rest of the team. Additional on-site presence days may be requested from the consultant, depending on the needs of the service.
Since the Gosselies site is not easily accessible by public transport, possession of a driver’s license and a vehicle will be necessary.

The mission should start as soon as possible, with the estimated duration being 7 months full-time.

Main Responsibilities

Operation and Maintenance of BPMN Platforms

  • Ensure the availability and stability of Sparx EA, PCS PRO, WebEA environments, and the SQL BPMN database.
  • Guarantee the proper execution of synchronization, import, update scripts of BPMN models and metadata.
  • Diagnose and quickly resolve incidents affecting modeling processes, application servers, DB access, or automations.

Technical Management of Modeling Data

  • Oversee the quality and consistency of BPMN data (InfoProc, InfoServ, Sparx extracts, exports, business files).
  • Ensure the availability of necessary files for experts, Process Owners, and modeling managers.
  • Support the maintenance and adjustment of import, extraction, and preparation tools for WebEA, ExplORES, and generated documents.

Integration and Technical Infrastructure of the Factory

  • Commission, stabilize, and maintain enterprise repository reporting.
  • Support BPMN experts during modeling, quality checks, impact analyses, and structure corrections.
  • Ensure consistency of technical environments during To Be, As Is modeling, and quality improvements.
  • Provide expert-level support during workshops, validations, cross-analyses, and transformation projects impacting processes.

BPMN Technical Quality, Consistency, and Governance

  • Contribute to structuring decisions (ProM, SeM, Parcours, nomenclatures, groupings).
  • Verify the technical compliance of models with BPMN standards and internal conventions.
  • Collaborate on the continuous improvement of the internal console, scripts, repositories, and governance files.

Participation in BPMN Factory Evolutions

  • Contribute to Factory evolution workshops (automations, repositories, structuring, integrations).
  • Support requests for pipeline improvements (deployments, scripts, Azure resources).
  • Participate in technical alignment meetings and follow-up reviews (SLA, Factory roadmap, business/IT prioritization).

Expected Deliverables

BPMN Technical Expertise

  • Advanced mastery of Sparx EA, WebEA, PCS, SQL repository, import scripts, and ProM/SeM/Parcours structure.
  • Ability to understand and analyze BPMN models to ensure their technical consistency.

Environments and Integrations

  • Very good knowledge of SQL Server, synchronizations, pre/post-processing of BPMN data.
  • Mastery of interactions with Logic Apps, App Services, automated flows.

Troubleshooting and Operational Stability

  • Excellent ability to resolve complex incidents, often cross-domain (network, access, Sparx/WebEA bug).
  • Rigorous in analysis, traceability, documentation, and service restoration.

Collaboration and Cross-functionality

  • Ability to communicate clearly and structured to both technical and non-technical profiles.
