1. Presentation of ETNIC

ETNIC (Entreprise pour les Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication) is the IT operator of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. As a public interest organization, ETNIC’s mission is to design, develop, maintain, and evolve information systems and technological infrastructures serving the administrations and institutions of the FWB.

A central player in the digital transformation of the French-speaking Belgian public sector, ETNIC operates in various fields such as:

• Management of IT infrastructures (networks, security, data centers, cloud)
• Development of custom business applications
• Support for digital projects (functional analysis, UX/UI, project management)
• Cybersecurity and data protection
• User support and training

2. Mission

As part of the deployment and evolution of our Flowable platform within ETNIC, we are seeking an experienced Flowable Platform developer/integrator to support our teams in implementing business process automation solutions for the Belgian public sector (French Community).

3. Activities

Architecture and technical consulting

• Advise on the optimal technical architecture for deploying Flowable Platform in our Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments
• Participate in defining architectural principles and development standards to ensure scalability and maintainability of solutions
• Participate in technology choices and the definition of evolution targets for the platform
• Support teams in performance optimization and high availability (clustering, load balancing)

Development and integration

• Participate in the design and development of an OAuth 2.0 authentication module integrated with NetIQ (Identity Manager)
• Implement integrations with our existing systems (databases, REST/SOAP services, Elasticsearch)
• Carry out BPMN 2.0 process modeling and its technical implementation

Configuration and deployment

• Configure and customize Flowable Platform (BPMN engine, CMMN, DMN) according to business needs
• Ensure deployment and configuration of applications on Tomcat servers in a clustered environment
• Implement connectors and integrations with business information systems
• Participate in defining and documenting best practices for configuration and operations

Support and knowledge transfer

• Provide technical support and expertise to development teams
• Conduct training and coaching sessions to promote skills development within teams
• Participate in drafting and technical documentation (architecture, functional, and operations)
• Participate in design workshops with business and technical teams

You will work closely with our teams of architects, developers, and system administrators, in a technical environment including Java 21, Tomcat, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and highly available RHEL9 infrastructures.
