Fullstack .net Developer

Context of the assignment:

RSVZ is a dynamic organization where more than 150 people work within the IT department. RSVZ is a bilingual environment, with both French-speaking and Dutch-speaking stakeholders. Within IT, work is done using agile methods (scrum methodology) and the ten development teams are composed in a multidisciplinary way. Currently, we are looking for several experienced .NET developers to expand the teams.

Each team consists of about ten people. The following functions and roles are represented in the team: Scrum Master, Business Analysts, Developers, Test Analysts, Ops Engineer, Product Owner. Teams consist of French-speaking and Dutch-speaking colleagues.

Role:

The experienced fullstack .NET developer (frontend and backend) is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the .NET application. This person works closely with other developers, testers, business analysts, the product owner, and the scrum master to deliver functionalities in an iterative and incremental manner. The developer plays a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of new functionalities.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, development, and maintenance of .NET applications using C# and .NET Core. Translates functional analyses into technical analyses and assists the business analyst in validating the technical specifications of applications.
  • Analyzing and solving technical problems: responsible for resolving second-level bugs and providing technical support to colleagues.
  • Continuous improvement of development processes and software quality: keeps up with trends and developments in technologies and methodologies in the field.
  • Automation and continuous integration by setting up pipelines, unit tests to ensure a stable and functional development, test, and production environment.
  • Collaboration with the agile team in a SAFe environment: works closely with other developers, testers, business analysts, product owner, and scrum master to deliver software in an iterative and incremental way.
  • Contributing to technical documentation and sharing knowledge within the team. Prepares technical documentation and checks the documentation prepared by junior developers.

Required experience and competencies:

  • Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a .NET developer.
  • 3 years of experience working according to Agile/Scrum.
