ABOUT THE POSITION:
The position is responsible for creating and maintaining a stable and secure IT environment as well as ensuring the continuity and performance of the network infrastructure and/or end-user applications with the aim of supporting business processes and user experiences.
- Contributing to the renewal of hardware and/or software components and carrying out the necessary functional or technical analyses in order to meet the needs of end users and the company.
- Managing and monitoring technical needs and communicating with stakeholders (project managers, architects, suppliers, ...) about the technical requirements.
- Comparing and providing advice for the selection of technology (equipment, licenses, ...).

Designing and documenting technical or functional solutions.

Developing or determining the technical requirements for, as well as implementing, new hardware or software and applications with the aim of delivering a high-quality set of equipment and applications.
- Installing and configuring (management) tools, servers, operating systems, network equipment.
- Programming control and access codes.

Adapting applications or tools in accordance with company-specific methods.

Monitoring, maintaining, testing, and securing the IT infrastructure and/or software applications with the aim of ensuring a high degree of reliability, security, and user-friendliness for end users.
- Installing and configuring systems.
- Programming, developing, testing, and validating functionalities.

Ensuring the efficient operation of tools and systems.

Maintaining data structures and/or system settings, providing a high-performance environment for data management, and ensuring backups of user files with the aim of ensuring the correctness of company data and enabling rapid recovery in case of loss or damage.
- Responsible for the quality of the data structure.
- Testing supply, backup, and recovery procedures.

Monitoring data processes.

Analyzing, resolving, and following up on application- or network-related issues with the aim of restoring the operation of these applications or networks.
- Analyzing and resolving error messages and technical issues.
- Providing second-line support to ICT colleagues.

Carrying out preventive actions to avoid downtime.

Formulating proposals for the renewal and optimization of the activity domain with the aim of meeting current and future (business) needs.
- Keeping up with developments in the field.
- Collecting and analyzing feedback.

Developing and proposing concepts for (process) improvements.

Safeguarding knowledge and keeping data and documentation up-to-date for own area of expertise as well as communicating information with the aim of maintaining a correct and complete overview of all available components and applications throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Managing inventories and/or diagrams.
- Registering and updating information in the management tools.
- Providing demos, documentation, and user manuals and sharing them.
Job Content:
The position holder is responsible for the analysis and documentation of the functional needs submitted by end users. The position holder acts as a bridge between Business and ICT and supports the internal team of Application Managers in the implementation and maintenance of applications across the various Business Units.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of ERP = plus
- Experience with:
- functional analysis (minimum 5 years),
- current analysis methods and tools,
- collaboration within small and medium-sized development teams,
- a background in development is an asset.
- Knowledge of:
- agile development methods,
- standard business processes (administration, production, logistics),
- BPMN, UML and testing methodologies.
- Education level:
- Master / Bachelor in an ICT-oriented field.
- Language skills:
- Dutch: active knowledge, spoken and written.
- French: basic knowledge, spoken and written.
- English: advanced knowledge, spoken and written.
- Behavioral competencies:
- communicates fluently, able to convey findings and analyses clearly, both orally and in writing,
- strives for quality and optimal, customer-oriented service,
- functions well within a team of Application Managers / Product Owners,
- works independently, accurately and in a structured manner, with attention to detail, and able to work remotely without difficulty,
- applies a pragmatic approach and is stress-resistant,
- highly values the principles of safety, reliability, responsibility, and teamwork.
