Mission Terms

As part of the "Market Blockages" cases and the need for a "return to normal," ORES is seeking a consultant to strengthen the expertise of its "Facilitation and Market Operations" team.

This is a full-time assignment for a duration of 6 months, extendable by 3 months, ideally starting on 15/04/2026.

Part of the assignment may, in consultation with the manager, be performed remotely, but presence at the Gosselies site for a minimum of 2 days per week is mandatory. Additional days of on-site presence may be requested from the consultant, depending on needs. Since the Gosselies site is not easily accessible by public transport, possession of a driver’s license and a vehicle will be necessary for travel. Travel to other sites is possible. Some meetings may take place in Brussels.

Mission Context

In response to the requirements issued by our regulator, our organization is required to achieve specific objectives regarding compliance and operational performance. These requirements notably include a return to normal in processes related to the energy market, and more specifically within the MIG6 model.

Given the complexity of blocked cases and the need to optimize existing processes, we are seeking an external MIG6 expert consultant to support our teams in the analysis, resolution, and—if necessary—the proposal of simplification.

Main Tasks

The consultant will be tasked to:

• Analyze blocked cases within the MIG6 model and propose concrete and operational solutions for their resolution.
• Identify opportunities for simplification, in connection with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Actively participate in alignment meetings with Atrias, in close collaboration with the assistant to the transversal process supervision service, and potentially replace them occasionally.
• Provide regular reporting on the progress of work, identified risks, and recommendations.

Profile Sought

• Bilingual French – English
• Min. 5 years of experience in the energy sector, particularly in Distribution
• Min. 2 years of experience as a functional analyst
• Proven expertise in MIG6 (Structuring, Measure, Rectification)
• Experience in process analysis and simplification proposals
• SQL knowledge

As the function requires administrator rights or access to confidential information, it is classified as high risk for ORES's information systems. Consequently, and in compliance with ISO27001, we are required to verify backgrounds by contacting at least one reference provided for any candidate selected for the mission.
