As part of the program to take over part of the application landscape of the Ministry of Defense, we are looking for Consultants to strengthen the internal teams.

The Defense program involves the overall takeover of the operational management of around thirty business applications initially. These applications are relatively varied from both a business and technological perspective.

The takeover activities can be divided as follows:

• Hand Over/Take Over (documentation, application maintenance, development of new features, …)
• Reengineering and/or complete rewriting of applications in order to align them with current development standards

Various skills:

• Very strong functional and business analysis skills in order to quickly assimilate complex subject matter.
• Good ability to abstract complex subject matter in order to coach new arrivals later on.
• Ability to easily integrate into an existing team.
• Familiar with AGILE/SCRUM development techniques.
• The application ecosystem is relatively extensive and is based on classic development technologies (Java, Posgresql, Angular, Selenium, Maven, GIT, JIRA…).
• Good knowledge of architectural concepts and development principles.
• Proficiency in FR or NL, and good knowledge of the other language.
