Context

For the digitization of its business processes (classification, restoration, subsidy of heritage assets) and its asset repositories, the Agence wallonne pour le Patrimoine is launching the DIGIPAT program: the implementation of an integrated internal management platform, repositories, and data publication allowing for the creation and tracking of the entire lifecycle of a file at AwAP. This platform will also interface with other regional and federal applications to offer users a complete journey.

DIGIPAT will be developed on the ERP Odoo and will interact with other application modules (yet to be defined, including website, geomatics, exchange platform, advice submission, etc.).

Objectives

The aim of the assignment is to create and lead a capacity for functional end-to-end business application testing (Digipat and all modules integrated with Digipat) to support and strengthen business users.

This involves leading and coordinating business testing activities: ensuring the drafting and completeness of test scenarios and executing them with the business teams, reporting the test results for correction, improvement, and evolution purposes.

Activities and Deliverables

The application tester must have a very good technical and functional understanding of Digipat, so it is important that they are present very early at the start of the project.

He/she will also need to have very good writing skills, as well as the ability to interact with the involved business teams (organizing, coordinating, providing input, reporting).

The tester will be part of the business application team: Digipat (AWaP).

He/she will also work in collaboration with SPW Digital project managers, the Digital and Business Program Manager, the quality manager/test coordinator of the Soolid platform, and with the business teams involved in the project.

More specifically, the tasks covered by this request will be as follows (non-exhaustive list):

• Set up a business testing framework (team, method, governance, deliverables, etc.) with the business testers.
• Coordinate the business teams for their User Acceptance Tests (UATs) (proactively).
• Help the business teams to create functional test scenarios, draft some as well, and structure their tests.
• Develop compliance test plans, non-regression test plans (possibly integrity, load, and performance test plans) specifically for the entire DIGIPAT platform (+ its integrations).
• Write test scenarios in Xray (JIRA).
• Verify that the functional requirements/specifications have been correctly implemented.
• Plan and execute these test plans, and draft test reports.
• Collect anomalies / non-conformities and communicate them to the responsible team.
• Track anomalies and non-conformities with the teams.
• Compare service documentation, and more specifically error management, with the test reports.
