Helpdesk Support

Presentation

DRI is responsible for the management of police information and ICT resources.

DRI is notably in charge of preparing the policy and management rules for information processing, developing the police information concept, defining technical standards and norms, and implementing information and communication systems.

The Services division (DISE) tests products, ensures the distribution and installation of various hardware and software products, and also acts as an “after-sales service”.

  • As such, the Services division is also the “first-line” point of contact for all questions related to DRI products or information management procedures and handles bottom-up problem resolution to enable the implementation of structural solutions. It also maintains a functional link with the decentralized “I” units to enable the implementation of various norms and standards at the district level.
  • The division manages and monitors the ‘service management committee’ in which the SLAs for first- and second-line support are developed and where the support procedures for clients are monitored, including the norms and standards to be applied by the decentralized services.
  • The division ensures the ‘plan-do-check-act’ cycle by reporting to the Operations division on structural problems encountered in applications or current procedures.
