For the FOCUS team within the Intelligence & Innovation department, Politiezone Antwerpen is looking for an experienced ICT Business Analyst / Product Owner. In this role, you combine analytical skills with a strong product vision and take ownership of digital solutions that enhance the work of the police.

You act as a bridge between business and IT, translating operational needs into concrete, scalable, and future-oriented solutions. At the same time, as Product Owner, you safeguard the product vision, priorities, and roadmap, ensuring maximum value creation for end users.

You work closely with internal stakeholders (operational departments, management, IT teams) and external partners, playing a key role in realizing innovative solutions within a complex and socially relevant context.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and documenting business needs and translating them into functional and technical solutions
• Taking on the Product Owner role within agile projects (management of backlog, prioritization, roadmap)
• Optimizing processes and supporting digital transformation initiatives
• Facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings
• Safeguarding the quality, progress, and added value of solutions

• Actively contributing to innovation within the FOCUS team

• Demonstrable experience in general business operations with application to ICT

• Demonstrable experience with development and optimization of business processes (BPM)
• Demonstrable experience with stakeholder management
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the various Project Management facets (cost, timing, coordination, planning, estimations)
• Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2

Context/Requirements

The duration of the assignment can be extended by mutual agreement in periods of 12 months, within the limits of the framework agreement of the Facilitair Bedrijf.

Price adjustments are not permitted, except for indexation during the assignment, which is allowed after each period of 12 consecutive months.

Termination by the service provider: the contractor may terminate the agreement at any time by registered letter and with a notice period of one (1) month.

Termination by AG Digipolis Antwerpen: AG Digipolis Antwerpen may terminate the agreement at any time by registered letter and with a notice period of one (1) month.
