Fluvius uses an SAP S/4HANA system, in which, among other things, financial and logistical processes are set up. The master data—which plays a crucial role in the aforementioned processes—is managed in SAP MDG. For this, a number of master data flows have been defined to ensure the quality of the material master and business partner (supplier) data.
To support and further optimize SAP MDG, Fluvius is looking for a consultant with the necessary data management and SAP MDG expertise. Thanks to your expertise and technical background, you are able to handle the business requests "end-to-end." You are responsible for needs analysis, technical design, development, and delivery of adjustments or extensions in SAP MDG, as well as guiding the customer throughout the entire delivery process.

Context/Requirements:

Your assignment as SAP MDG specialist includes the following:

• You capture requirements, create functional analyses/specifications, and discuss these with various stakeholders (business, supporting ICT services, ...)
• You are responsible for the technical implementation in SAP MDG
• You coordinate with internal ICT parties to ensure the continued operation of implemented master data and business processes in S/4HANA
• You check the completed work using a test plan and validate with the requesting business party
• You follow the standard development cycle within the respective environments and are responsible for the go-live of changes
• You keep the existing documentation up to date
• You are responsible for the lifecycle management of the existing SAP MDG environment and support the ICT SAP Basis Components team with the upgrade/patching of the SAP S/4HANA system, of which SAP MDG is a part, when necessary
• You are responsible for resolving technical issues and coordinate any actions with supporting ICT services
• You provide support to keep SAP MDG operational by performing the necessary "keep it running" activities and resolving incidents
• You ensure the necessary knowledge transfer to colleagues from the supporting ICT services who use SAP MDG so that they can also provide “first line” support in the absence of the SAP MDG expert
• You advise Fluvius on the further development of SAP MDG and work out improvement proposals for the existing setup

Required knowledge:

• Very good knowledge of SAP MDG concepts and techniques within S/4HANA
• In-depth knowledge of the SAP MDG Framework and modeling tools
• In-depth knowledge of BRF+ and SAP Workflow development
• In-depth knowledge of ABAP development (including the use of ChaRM)
• Advanced knowledge of SAPUI5, FPM & Fiori and the integration of MDG-tiles
• Knowledge of SAP authorizations related to SAP MDG functionalities
• Experience in the utilities sector and knowledge of the terms and business processes used is an asset
• Basic knowledge of a project methodology
• Solid knowledge of ITIL service management processes and how these can be used to guarantee service levels

Additionally:

• Given the strong interaction with the business, an excellent command of Dutch (both spoken and written) is required
• Based on his/her expertise, this person must be able to fully participate in the existing team within one month. Self-organization & strong learning ability are essential qualities in this regard
• You have strong communication skills, maintain personal contacts, and build a good relationship with the user community
• You are a true team player and work actively with the various stakeholders
• You are analytical, work in a structured and documented way
• You are able to lead other technical profiles in the execution and guidance of SAP MDG assignments
