Job Description:

This position is responsible for managing either the end-user applications (both internally developed and externally purchased) or the ICT infrastructure (central servers, internal company network, and external connections), with the goal of guaranteeing the optimal support of Belgoprocess's business processes.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Planning, leading, and monitoring ICT projects and/or studies with the aim of providing ICT applications or ICT infrastructure for the management of business data.
• Being responsible for ICT projects and/or studies regarding the implementation and optimization of end-user applications OR regarding the development and optimization of the central server park, company network, or external connections.
• Creating, monitoring, and adjusting project schedules.
• Creating project proposals and project charters.
• Coordinating the activities within projects and supporting project members with the aim of successfully completing ICT projects in a cost-efficient and high-quality manner.
• Functionally directing, motivating, and supporting the members of the project team.
• Consulting with stakeholders (possibly also external consultants/experts).
• Ensuring the completeness and correctness of documentation throughout the projects.
• Mapping and analyzing the (future) business needs or user requirements regarding ICT, with the goal of timely selecting applications/infrastructure/partners.
• Inventorying the business needs or user requirements regarding ICT.
• Exploring the market, following developments, evaluating received proposals, and selecting candidate suppliers.
• Preparing a functional analysis, technical analysis, etc.
• Providing and developing proposals to optimize the ICT applications or ICT infrastructure with the aim of ensuring the organization an optimal operation of ICT resources.
• Preparing a project proposal.
• Assessing the added value of new technologies/partners for the organization.
• Upgrading development and management tools/software, network systems to the most recent version.
• Monitoring and scheduling the routine maintenance of ICT applications or ICT infrastructure to guarantee a qualitative, safe operation.
• Following up on incident reports.
• Analyzing security reports and implementing firewalls.
• Identifying, analyzing, and scheduling operational adjustments and/or functional additions, if desired in consultation with own team members or other teams within ICT.
• Keeping the documentation regarding processes within ICT up to date, with the goal of having a complete set of inventories, diagrams, and procedures.
• Developing and updating instructions and procedures regarding the management of ICT applications and ICT infrastructure.
• Training ICT employees in carrying out these procedures.
• Managing the inventories of ICT applications and ICT infrastructure.

Profile:

• 5-8 years of experience

Please note: There will be a collective closure from 14/07/2026 until 02/08/2026. In view of the progress of the selection procedure and the application for a security clearance/advice, the candidate will only be able to start in August.
